Yoon Si Yoon Musings

Hey! I’m back. Quite long, huh? Onto the quarter of Yoon Si Yoon’s latest drama, It’s Beautiful Now.  It’s now on its 20th episode and it has gotten so much exciting with the twists now starting to come along.  I am not going to spoil you on anything but geez, Si Yoon and Da Bin’s chemistry is sizzling! Well, they both played their roles breezily. Hyun Jae’s as charming, cute and sexy in as fast as a blink of an eye.  The plot has already thickened and the dynamics of each character is well blended in telling of the story and are totally relatable. Those of us who are in large families can certainly affirm the tightness and conflicts of a close-knit family. I am so looking forward to how all the relationships will play out and what lessons can be had in the end. Hello there and welcome back to my once-a-week post hehe... Let's talk about my first-ever fan meeting experience. Why first-ever? Well, I have never fangirled this hard until Yoon Si Yoon. When I first knew of this fan meeting happening live and online, I was truly ecstatic - really ecstatic! I'd get to see him live albeit on screen and will be seeing him again talk about stuff and more stuff but it is his point of view on things that I am really excited about. Anyways, I downloaded the hellolive app then waited for the online ticket sale to open, purchased the ticket then waited patiently for the day to arrive. As any avid fangirl would do, I covered all social media sites for updates of the incoming fan meet including the announcements from his agency down to the hellolive app and other sources - the fans! When we accumulate a lot of stress, we should find means to vent these out - be it sports or whatever comes to mind. Have tried a number of stress relieving options, some have worked some didn't. However with this pandemic, our options are really narrowed down.  I used to go out and drive around with friends but with limited options and number of people coming together, I have gone back to being a couch potato - a large couch potato at that! Back to reading books, binge watching movies and television series to finding my way back to my addiction - Kdrama series.  Although I have watched a number of them, even repeating some of them numerous times, I have never been this mesmerized, for lack of a better word - mind's completely agog these days, with tada! you guessed it right, Yoon Si Yoon . My fascination with Yoon Si Yoon started during the pandemic, ca, end of 2020. I know, I am too late in discovering this amazing guy but hey, better late than never! I was surfing through Netflix and came across a thumbnail of the series with him (didn't know him yet) and Lee Se Young.  To be honest, I just scrolled past it a number of times and was only really forced to try watching it because of Cha Eun Woo. A bit curious about the story, I continued watching when he showed up and piqued my interest. To cut it short, I was caught unaware, disarmed by his charm and acting chops then eventually his wits and personality - done for! I scoured all his dramas, variety, guestings, ads, interviews, radio shows, movies, hosting, documentaries, even his discography- you name it, have probably seen or heard them. Well, this blog will hopefully help me document my continuing fascination, as well as help, feed the interest of other YSY fans out there who share the same
